Frequently Asked Questions

  • Where is the event being held?

ClayFest Northwest 2025 will take place in Port Angeles, WA on a beautiful piece of private land with retreat facilities, just a short bus ride from town.

  • Who is encouraged to participate?

This event is for all women, trans, nonbinary, genderqueer, and two-spirit individuals over the age of 18. The building and construction industry is historically cis-male-dominated, and our mission is to create a space to uplift those who don’t fit that norm!

  • Do I need to have prior skills or building experience?

Nope! People of all skills levels are welcome, from beginners to professional builders.

  • What amenities are provided at the venue?

Free camping is available with a gorgeous view of the Olympic mountains! The venue offers private open-air warm showers with natural-built walls, indoor meeting/workshop spaces, and a small on-site market with local produce, snacks, drinks, and more. Just a short drive or bus ride from town for anything else you may need!
